Four piece, blues rock outfit Kill It Kid’s follow up to 2009s debut self titled album is Feel Fall Heavy. Signed to One Little Indian Records home to the likes of Sigur Ros, Bjork and Johnathan Rice to name a few, any band would be privileged to share a roster with such well respected names and Feet Fall Heavy shows exactly why they are amongst such acts!
With the majority of British bands doing the whole typical indie guitar rock thing at the moment it’s great to see bands like Kill It Kid do something different. With little gems like single number one ‘Pray On Me‘ and ‘Run‘ with their dirty, rugged blues sound Feet Fall Heavy is perfect to put on loud and proud, cranked up to eleven!
The combined efforts of the vocals between Stephanie Ward and Chris Turpin really gives the album a bit of texture making it a lot more interesting to listen to especially on the first listen.
Overall Kill It Kid’s Feet Fall Heavy is a cracking listen and there is no doubt that they are ones to watch this year.
